On May 15, 2014, residents of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics Class of 2014 celebrated their graduation at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy.
Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics Dr. Sami Chogle hosted the event with the support of the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine Endodontic Alumni Association. Dr. Chogle thanked everyone who helped the graduating class of 2014. He then introduced all the residents and briefly explained their plans for after graduation.
Dean and Mrs. Jeffrey W. Hutter also attended. “Congratulations on your wonderful achievement of completing this prestigious program,” Dean Hutter said to graduates. “We wish you the best of success in all of your future endeavors.”
He added, “Dr. Chogle has played an excellent role in your education and you should feel well prepared for the tasks ahead.”
Graduate Eugenia Yang gave a heartfelt speech on behalf of the class, motivated partly by the 11 years she has spent studying at Boston University.
“It has been a long journey, one that I often complain way too much about, but in the end I’m happy,” she said. “I’m happy I’ve made it this far and I’m happy that it was with BU. BU is precious. BU took a chance on me when they accepted me. BU gave me opportunities I would not have had elsewhere, an environment for me to grow, and memories I will cherish forever.”
Mey Alhabib and fellow residents presented a slide show.
