Students vs. faculty
Faculty, staff, and students traded scrubs for gym shorts on Friday April 4, 2014, as the Boston University chapter of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA) held its annual student/faculty basketball game.
The event is one of SNDA’s most popular fundraisers, pitting 11 students against 11 BU faculty and staff on the South End Fitness Center court. It also offers the rare opportunity to see Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter in a referee uniform as he calls the game. The students won, but it was a close game, with a final score of 56-54.
“It was a great opportunity to bring all of the GSDM community together in support of SNDA, showing so much school spirit,” said SNDA President Daniella Rizzo DMD 16.
The money raised from ticket and tee shirt sales goes toward event costs and SNDA outreach events.
